OctoberFest!

Our fun so far has included a very enjoyable trip to the Pumpkin Patch and a very fun night of pumpkin carving. Good thing October is not over yet!

Happy 1st Birthday, Colton!

My baby hit the big One! Colton turned one year old and we have enjoyed every moment of this past year with him. He is a great little guy! He makes us laugh and just thinking about him puts a smile in our faces. We love you Colton!

BIG FIVE!

So, Ben and I had our fifth wedding anniversary! WOW! We look back and can't believe how fast they have gone by. We still joke and laugh and have fun just like we did during our dating months, but it's better now. We love being married to each other, the things we have achieved together, the places we've been, and most of all, the beautiful kids our Heavenly Father has blessed us with. Thank you for five years of much love and happiness!

Oh June!

Well, I am excited about this June of 2010 because it will bring our family a lot of fun events. Just to mention a few, it's finally the start of summer (if it ever decides to warm up here in Idaho), Ben and I are coming up to our 5th wedding anniversary (WOW! It feels like 10!), Colton will turn one year old!, and the FIFA World Cup begins in a few days. I am making an entry about it because this is a huge deal (for me anyway). It's the first time in 28 years that Honduras will make its appearance in this event. To get me started, I have been playing the song for the World Cup so many times that even my kids dance to it. Oh, viva la copa mundial!

Birthday Party!

So I finally get around to post pictures of Taylor and McKay's birthday party. We had lots of kids and lots of food. We had a great time and by the end of the party, Ben and I were soooo tired from trying to entertain 12 kids ages 2-4! (It made me appreciate our nursery leaders even more). We love our girls!

Before the party began, Taylor made the comment that I forgot to paint the slide blue on their Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake. I ran out of blue frosting and I thought I could get away with it or they wouldn't notice, but I was soooo wrong! Kids notice everything!

McKay is 3!

My second baby girl is now three years old! They grow up so fast! Happy birthday McKay! I love you!

He Crawls!

Just laying on his tummy watching his sisters run from room to room wasn't enough for Colton. So, my chubby muffin finally decided he needed to crawl and he did it last night. Precisely, the night I had to attend a church meeting and, of course, I missed the whole thing! (That's okay, the meeting was really good). Ben told me all about it when I got back. My first thought was: "I need to start babyproofing the house."

On another good note, this morning, I was able to answer "Yes! He Crawls! when asked about it during Colton's regular check-up. He passed with flying colors and way above average on his height and weight. "He's a big kid!" doc said and I agree!

Taylor is 4!

So my oldest baby is 4 today! It seems as it was yesterday she was my little baby girl. . .

And now she is my big baby girl. I love you Taylor! Happy Birthday!

Those Primary Kids!

I am so proud of my kids. I found them Saturday playing in the family room. I asked them what game they were playing and they told me it was "Primary." I made Colton join them so I could record a few minutes of their playtime before they got distracted with me there. It was so cute I thought I would share it! Taylor and McKay tell me each Sunday they love Primary and Nursery, and it shows. I love the Primary program, too!

College Grad!

So, it's official! Ben is a college graduate now! He received his diploma a couple days ago and couldn't stop grinning. "It feels good!" he said. It only took him three years (with the University of Phoenix) and three kids (with me) to complete it and we are so proud of him. You are awesome! We love you, Ben!

General Conference

I finally get a chance and the time to talk a little bit about this last General Conference. The talks were exceptional and uplifting. They are like chapters of a really good book you can't put down -- they get better and better. As many of us, I was touched by many (if not all) of the talks. I know that the speakers were inspired and called of God to declare these truths. One of my favorites speakers has always been Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. His talks are honest, straight, very strong, very passionate, and very spiritual at the same time. Preschool Girl!

So, today was Taylor's first day of preschool. . . and she loved it! When I picked her up, she could not stop telling me what she did and how much fun she had. It was sooo adorable. My little girl is so big!

Thank Heaven for Little Ones. . .

Especially when they start SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! That's right my family and friends! Colton has become even cuter now because there is nothing cuter than a baby that lets you sleep the night!

Colton King Harris

Colton King Harris was born on June 17, 2009 at 3:17am. He weighed 7 lb. 12 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. He is a very calm baby and is doing fine. Mommy, Daddy, Taylor and McKay are very happy he came to be part of our family. We love you, Colton!
